DreamSpring’s 2024 Annual Report Shares Small Business Success for Generations
    2:25

Our 2024 Annual Report highlights milestones, client stories, and a vision for generational impact through entrepreneurship.

In 2024, DreamSpring played a catalytic role in helping entrepreneurs create jobs, grow wealth, and open doors for the next wave of changemakers and leaders. Our just-released 2024 Annual Report details our work as a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Small Business Administration (SBA) lender, breaking down barriers to capital so entrepreneurs can start and grow businesses.

In the report, we lay out how we provided more than $580 million in financing to nearly 34,000 small businesses across 27 states since our founding in 1994. That capital supported the creation and retention of almost 68,000 jobs, helping thousands of families build generational wealth and vitalize communities.

One of those families is the Jesuruns. Dave Jesurun, a U.S. Air Force veteran, launched High Country Air Service to offer private aircraft servicing to the greater Albuquerque area. With a pandemic-era loan and later SBA funding from DreamSpring, Dave expanded operations to include charter flights and welcomed his wife and daughters into the growing business.

The report also introduces new leadership on DreamSpring’s national Board of Directors. Over the last year, Alice Rodriguez stepped into the role of Chair of the DreamSpring Board of Directors, and we welcomed Manny Alvarez to the board. DreamSpring’s board leadership drives our mission of economic opportunity with deep expertise across banking, financial regulation and consumer protection, law, business and financial strategy, entrepreneurship, and community impact. We are indebted to their commitment as stewards of small business success for generations. See the full lineup of DreamSpring’s Board of Directors in our 2024 Annual Report.
