Toni’s grooming business helps special-needs pups look and feel their best.

Toni Remick is going a cut above in Kansas City with Tails and Topknots, a mobile grooming business focused on dogs with special grooming needs. After leaving an unsatisfying job at a grooming salon, Toni rapidly launched her business with DreamSpring capital to cover startup costs. “The support really meant so much to me,” she says. With DreamSpring’s support, Toni is becoming a certified master groomer and working to raise the standard of canine care in her community. “I’ve got dreams,” she says.

Dave’s family business is building a runway to a brighter future.

Access to capital is helping a family aviation business spread its wings. From aircraft maintenance to charter service, High Country Air Service keeps private planes flight-ready and clients satisfied. When the pandemic grounded operations, Air Force veteran Dave Jesurun turned to DreamSpring for Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans to keep the business stay aloft. Last year, a Small Business Administration (SBA) loan from DreamSpring gave Dave and his family the capital they needed to grow. "The DreamSpring loan just accelerates all of that and lets me do two things at once,” he says.
