Carolina, Catherine, and Andrés each bring a different creative background to Min & Mon. Carolina studied fine art and sculpture before falling in love with fashion and starting to design handbags. Her husband, Andrés, uses his background in architecture to create the brand’s distinctive hand-drawn prints and charms that celebrate imperfection and play. Their BFF and business partner Catherine trained as a flautist and educator, and now keeps the business side moving while shaping the stories that surround each piece.
With Carolina and Andrés hailing from Colombia, Min & Mon makes a deliberate choice to keep production tied to Colombian artisanship. Rather than outsourcing for lower costs, the team invests in long-standing techniques from the Andes—including a partnership with the Wayuu Indigenous community—and works directly with local makers under fair labor practices.
Together, Carolina, Catherine, and Andrés have grown Min & Mon into a boutique brand with a loyal following. Their designs mix whimsy with craftsmanship, and their business runs on storytelling, family, and a belief that quirky is cool.
Join us on Oct. 16 to hear how Min & Mon built their brand from the ground up, and what it takes to balance creativity, joy, and entrepreneurship in the world of fashion.
