DreamSpring Team Members Join Fellowships in 2024

    January 22, 2024

DreamSpring is proud to announce that two of our Community Engagement Officers have been accepted to participate in impactful fellowships in 2024

After a rigorous selection process, Shaundra Jacobs will take part in a fellowship offered through Bunker Labs, while Meghan Rauker will serve on the Spring cohort of Impact Denver, organized by the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation. Each fellowship is an opportunity to sharpen their already-considerable skillsets and knowledge as they work to increase entrepreneurship, access to capital, and economic mobility in communities across the U.S.

As a 2024 Bunker Labs Ambassador, Shaundra Jacobs will gain in-depth training on the unique needs of, and resources available to, veteran and military spouse small business owners. Shaundra joins a nationwide cohort of entrepreneurial servant leaders who, over the next 12 months, will work to build and uplift local business ecosystems aligned with military families.

“It is an honor to have been accepted as a Bunker Labs Ambassador, and I cannot wait to increase my capacity to support veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs as they pursue their dreams of owning a small business,” Shaundra says.    shaundra j

Impact Denver is a six-month program that asks up-and-coming leaders from across sectors to work together in solving pressing community issues. As part of the Spring 2024 fellowship track, Meghan Rauker will be immersed in a series of hands-on learning and planning sessions that explore challenges facing the Denver metro area, culminating in a community project.

"Over the next six months, I look forward to collaborating with local leaders for community impact and developing a deeper understanding about community issues,” Meghan says. “Together, we can work as a collective to break down barriers, cultivate opportunities, and act as community catalyst for social change."   Meghan R
