A record-setting vote count helps the Cadence Bank Foundation distribute $150,000 in charitable gifts.
Albuquerque, NM — Cadence Bank customers, teammates, and friends believe sharing means caring. That’s why they rallied together to cast more than 13,200 votes in the annual Cadence Cares Holiday Program this past November and December, where the portion of the $150,000 gift each nonprofit receives is determined by popular vote. All of the participating nonprofits have ongoing volunteer relationships with Cadence and aim to improve circumstances for low- and moderate-income families and individuals and revitalize neighborhoods.
DreamSpring, a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Small Business Administration (SBA) lender, is grateful to Cadence for its generosity and partnership, as well as to all those who voted to support DreamSpring’s mission of vitalizing communities through entrepreneurship.
“Cadence Bank continues to be an outstanding partner in supporting small businesses and economic revitalization through their generous contributions. This $18,000 gift is a testament to the power of our partnership and the lasting impact it has on the communities we serve,” says Amber Kani, DreamSpring Head of Stakeholder Engagement. “We are deeply grateful to Cadence Bank, its employees, and all of those who voted to support DreamSpring’s mission of fostering entrepreneurship and creating economic opportunity.”
