    Victor Ikeda-Wood

Owner of Saratoga Sundry in Saratoga Springs, New York

After more than a decade in tech startups, Victor Ikeda-Wood decided he was done building other people's dreams. He wanted to create his own vision — one that would light people up as soon as they saw it. He landed on a retro camper and the backroads of upstate New York. Saratoga Sundry operates out of a fully electric, 1970s-inspired mobile camper that Vic takes to markets, events, and wherever the scenery looks good. A coffee menu features beans sourced from roasters who prioritize ethical practices. The camper also carries a curated retail selection of candles inspired by Saratoga's famous springs, artisanal soaps, and locally made gifts.

The camper is available to rent for weddings, photo shoots, and corporate events, which means Saratoga Sundry shows up as a full experience. A $54,083 DreamSpring startup loan made the camper purchase possible, so Vic could get Saratoga Sundry on the road.

"By supporting Saratoga Sundry," Vic writes, "you're also supporting a network of small businesses and artisans who care about their craft as much as we do."
