Jay Figueroa has always made coffee for people he cares about. Homemade lattes, at-home pour overs, cups shared around a kitchen table — every cup is part of his love language, and that's what Filled Coffee Company is made of.
Jay's business started as a small-batch, single-origin organic roaster selling wholesale and online, with beans sourced from places like Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, and Costa Rica. The business tagline is "Filled Is for Families" because a portion of every sale goes to nonprofits supporting foster care, adoption, and families experiencing homelessness.
A $64,430 DreamSpring loan helped Jay expand the operation with a mobile café trailer, putting Filled in front of new customers at weddings, school appreciation days, and fundraisers across Gettysburg and beyond. Now the coffee and the cause travel together.
