Georgia: Artadia Awards
The Artadia Awards provide financial support and recognition to three artists with unrestricted awards of $15,000 in a different program city each month. This month, artists living and working in the Atlanta area for at least two consecutive years are invited to apply. |
Illinois: Creative Accelerator Fund
The Illinois Arts Council awards $10,000 to individual Illinois artists with an active and sustained practice across any discipline — visual art, music, literature, film, craft, performance, digital media, folk arts, and more. Unlike most grant programs, recipients are selected by randomized lottery in partnership with the Illinois State Lottery, so eligibility and a complete application are the most important factors. Open to Illinois residents who have been practicing their art form since at least 2023. |

New Mexico: "On Set in New Mexico" 2026 Film & Media ConferenceThe New Mexico Film Office hosts its annual Film & Media Conference Sept. 2 – 3 at the Albuquerque Rail Yards and the CNM Film and Media Arts Collaborative. This year's theme celebrates the productions, people, and partnerships that make New Mexico a leading destination for film and media production. Sessions cover industry trends, workforce development, creative careers, and the future of film and media in the state. $45 registration includes all sessions, networking, lunch both days, the Wrap Reception, exhibitor access, and The Talent Connection: Representation Roundtables with talent agents and casting directors. Missouri/Kansas: Charlotte Street Visual Artist + Generative Performing Artist Awards
Charlotte Street awards unrestricted grants of $10,000 each to visual artists and generative performing artists based in the five-county Kansas City Metro area or Douglas County, Kansas. Visual Artist Fellows receive a professionally curated solo exhibition; Generative Performing Artist Fellows receive a professional video production piece. Applications are reviewed through a competitive open call process with in-person studio visits and presentations. |
The Hodder Fellowship
The Hodder Fellowship provides a $93,000 stipend for a 10-month appointment as a Visiting Fellow at Princeton University, giving artists and writers of exceptional promise a year of dedicated time to pursue independent projects. No teaching is involved. The current cycle is open to applicants in dance, theater and music theater, visual arts, and music only. Applicants may only apply for the Hodder Fellowship twice in a lifetime. |
Missouri/Kansas: ArtsKC Inspiration Grants
ArtsKC awards $3,500 project grants to individual artists and small groups in the five-county Kansas City Metro area. Visual art, dance, music, theater, literature, poetry, fashion, film, and interdisciplinary work are all welcome. The purpose is to support ambitious projects of risk, growth, and change. Artists may only apply once per year. Activity supported by this round must take place between Sept. 30, 2026, and March 25, 2027. |
Robert Lehman Foundation
The Robert Lehman Foundation supports museum exhibitions, art education programs, scholarly publications, and art history lectureships that advance the role of visual arts within American and world culture. The foundation prioritizes projects whose intellectual content complements the strengths of the Robert Lehman Collection. Open to 501(c)(3) nonprofits including museums, arts organizations, and cultural entities. |
Fulbright Iceland-Greece Joint Award for Arts and Design
This Fulbright Scholar Award gives one U.S. artist or designer a grant to live and work in both Greece and Iceland, spending time in each country. Open to visual artists, writers, poets, dancers, filmmakers, photographers, designers, musicians, and other creative practitioners. Recipients are expected to present or publish work during their residency and may mentor or teach. U.S. citizenship is required. |
100 Voices Grant
This grant supports filmmakers and screenwriters at any level, awarding up to $5,000 in unrestricted funds alongside a meeting with an industry professional and a one-on-one career coaching session. Two tracks are available: one for storytellers with a Florida connection ($25 application fee) and one open to anyone regardless of location ($35 application fee). |
Texas: Houston Arts Alliance Fall Grant Programs

The Queens Museum awards two fellowships of $20,000 each to emerging visual artists living in the five boroughs of New York City. Each fellowship includes professional development consultations, mentorship from Queens Museum staff, and a solo exhibition at the museum in 2028. The program defines emerging as artists with at least two but no more than 10 years of experience generating new work outside a degree-granting program who have not yet had solo exhibitions at established galleries or museums. |

h+h americas Fall Edition is North America's premier B2B wholesale trade show for the craft industry — covering yarn, fiber, fabric, needlecraft, quilting, sewing, notions, and more. Sept. 30 kicks off with a full day of education sessions and the Launch Party; Oct. 1 and 2 are open show floor days for wholesale buying and networking. Printed Matter Publisher Work Grant
Now in its third year, this grant awards three unrestricted grants of $10,000 each to independent artists' book publishers with an established history of publication. The program supports presses committed to experimental, artist-driven publishing outside mainstream distribution channels — and winners also receive a featured exhibitor presence at an upcoming Printed Matter NY or LA Art Book Fair. Commercially run studios that exclusively publish client work are not eligible, nor are institutional imprints with significant existing support. If your press primarily publishes fiction, poetry, or monographs, check the eligibility FAQ before applying. |
Kickstarter Culture Fund
Kickstarter has launched a $1 million fund to support independent creators in Art, Photography, Dance, Theater, Film, Fashion, and Music by pledging directly to their Kickstarter campaigns. Selected recipients receive a minimum $1,000 pledge — with amounts varying based on project needs — along with promotional support across Kickstarter's channels. Because Kickstarter operates on an all-or-nothing model, funding is only released if the campaign reaches its goal. To apply, your project must have at least a draft Kickstarter campaign with a main image and description, and must launch by Dec. 31, 2026. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; applicants hear back within six weeks of submission. |
