Washington: Artist Trust Fellowship Awards
Artist Trust’s Fellowship Awards recognize practicing professional artists in Washington State with $10,000 unrestricted grants honoring artistic excellence and dedication to creative practice. Open to artists in all disciplines statewide, the program annually supports eight or more artists, including special awards for Black, Trans, Indigiqueer, and Native artists. Applications are reviewed by a multidisciplinary panel using an equity-focused lens, considering artistic merit, experience, and commitment to practice. |

New York: A.I.R. Fellowship Program 2026–2027The A.I.R. Fellowship Program supports emerging and underrepresented women and non-binary artists in Brooklyn providing six local artists with their first solo exhibition, mentorship, curatorial support, and professional development over a 12-month fellowship. Fellows receive a $3,000 stipend and access to workshops, studio visits, and career-building resources. |
The Hopper PrizeThe Hopper Prize offers international artists working in any media the chance to receive one of six cash grants totaling $13,000 ($4,500 for 2 artists, $1,000 for 4 artists). In addition to funding, selected artists gain exposure through the Hopper Prize archive, online journal, and Instagram audience of 150k+. Entry fee is $40 for up to 10 artworks. |
Storytelling: Communicating Your Impact
Arts professionals and organizations are invited to a free online workshop on Nov. 13 from 12 –1:30 p.m. ET via Zoom. Presented by NYFA in partnership with the Northern Virginia Local Arts Agencies (NVLAA), this session will explore strategies for effectively communicating your impact, including crafting problem and solution statements, articulating your value proposition, and gathering data to measure key results. The workshop is recorded, and RSVPs will have access to the recording for 30 days. |
$1,200 Grant for Visual Artists
Artist Grant provides one international visual artist with an unrestricted $1,200 award. Open to artists 18+ working in photography, drawing, mixed-media, painting, or sculpture. Entry fee: $30. |
Nebraska: 2026 Individual Artist Fellowships
Nebraska 1% for Public Art awards Nebraska-based artists in music/sound, choreography, filmmaking/screenwriting, and theater / playwriting with $1,000 – $5,000 to create new work, presentations, training, or research. Fellows are selected by an out-of-state professional panel based on artistic merit. The program rotates annually among literature, performing arts, and visual arts disciplines. |

The Queens Arts Fund’s Arts Access Grant supports community-based organizations and collectives producing public arts and cultural programs across Queens. Grants range from $2,500 to $5,000 for projects taking place in 2026 that engage local audiences through exhibitions, performances, festivals, screenings, readings, workshops, and more. Preference is given to programs that are free or use a sliding scale and are ADA accessible. |

Foundation for Contemporary Arts: Emergency Grants
The Foundation for Contemporary Arts (FCA) offers Emergency Grants to U.S.-based visual and performing artists working in contemporary, experimental forms who face sudden opportunities or unanticipated expenses related to public presentations of their work. Artists may apply for $500 to $3,000 in urgent, project-based support for exhibitions or performances occurring in the U.S. or abroad. On average, FCA awards 12 – 21 grants each month. Eligible applicants must live in the U.S. or its territories, hold a U.S. Tax ID, and have a confirmed performance or exhibition date. |
