Meet Courtney Gray
Courtney Gray is a Texas-based jeweler, educator, and creative business coach who’s helped thousands of makers bring their artistic vision to life, both at their benches and in their businesses. Over the past 25 years, she’s carved out a multifaceted career that spans custom jewelry, fine metalwork, and coaching creative entrepreneurs toward sustainable success.
After starting her journey welding steel and sculpting copper, Courtney found her way to jewelry in 1996 and never looked back. She honed her craft as a casting tech and bench jeweler, earning certifications in art metals and six international welding credentials along the way. In 2006, she founded Creative Side Jewelry Academy in Austin, growing it into one of the top jewelry schools in the U.S. before selling the business in 2019 to pursue a new creative chapter.
Courtney now works with artists and makers across industries to build thriving businesses with systems that support clarity and real growth. She's the creator of the Transform course and host of “The Jeweler’s View” podcast, where she shares real-talk strategies on pricing, marketing, and building a business that fits your life.
In this Maker MasterMind session, Courtney will share insights from her evolution from metal artist and jeweler to founder, teacher, and coach. Join us on Sept. 18 to get practical advice on bringing your work to market, and learn how to forge your creative business with confidence.
