Georgia: Larch Creative Fund Grants 

The Larch Creative Fund, in partnership with the Spruill Center for the Arts, is offering grants totaling $50,000 to support innovative, arts-based projects that foster creative thinking and community participation. Individual artists, collaborations, and nonprofit organizations in Georgia are encouraged to apply. Preference is given to projects that engage the public, are free and accessible, and are new initiatives.

Apply by June 1.

 

 

New York: Independent Projects Grant Program

Designers based in New York State are invited to apply for the 2025 Independent Projects grant program, a partnership between New York State Council on the Arts and The Architectural League of New York. This year, 25 grants of $10,000 each will be awarded to individuals and teams exploring design through research or creative production. Eligible fields include architecture, landscape architecture, fashion, graphic design, and more. 

Apply by June 4.

 

 

Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise  

The Vilcek Foundation will award six grants in two categories: Fashion & Design and Fashion & Culture. In each category, three young immigrant fashion professionals who demonstrate outstanding early achievement in their field will individually receive an unrestricted cash prize of $50,000. 

Apply by June 9. 

 

 

AFAC Training and Regional Events Grant  

The Training and Regional Events grant from the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) supports initiatives including workshops, residencies, symposiums, festivals, and archive platforms across artistic disciplines such as music, film, performing and visual arts, literature, and more. Grants of up to $25,000 are available for individuals and teams, and up to $35,000 for collectives and institutions. Open to applicants from Arab countries, regardless of residence or nationality, as well as organizations worldwide working on Arab arts and culture. 

Apply by June 13. 

 

 

Missouri: 21c Artadia Award  

21c Museum Hotels and Artadia are partnering to offer the 21c Artadia Award, providing $15,000 in unrestricted funds to one visual artist living and working in Saint Louis in 2025. This award supports artists at pivotal moments in their careers with financial backing and ongoing access to the Artadia Network — a community of peers and professionals to support career growth. 

Applications are open June 15 – July 15. 

 

 

Texas: Houston Arts Alliance Festival Grant

Up to $10,000 is available to support arts festivals or the arts components of cultural festivals that celebrate Houston’s diversity and promote the city’s creative identity as a unique arts and culture destination. Open to annual or biannual festivals with curated programming.

Applications are open June 16 – July 25. 

 

 

Jackson Wild Grant for Emerging Environmental Filmmakers

EJackson Wild, in partnership with Amberjack Films and Schoolyard Films, is offering a $30,000 grant to support early-stage filmmakers in creating a 10- to 20-minute short film on a nature or environmental story from their own region. The program includes mentorship throughout the editorial process, and funding will be distributed in stages starting January 2026. Applicants must be members of the Jackson Wild Collective (free to join).

Apply by June 20.

 

 

National Geographic Society “The Big Questions” 

The National Geographic Society, with support from the John Templeton Foundation, invites storytellers to submit proposals that explore humanity’s greatest questions on human identity, our relationship with nature, and the boundaries of knowledge. Through photography, film, writing, data visualization, and more, applicants are encouraged to spark curiosity, foster awe, and illuminate new perspectives. Grants of up to $100,000 are available (with up to $20,000 recommended for early-career applicants). Proposed projects should include a clear evaluation plan and may span up to one year.

Apply by June 24.
