Organizations and full-time degree students are not eligible. |

Granum Foundation Translation PrizeThe Granum Foundation awards $1,500 or more to support a U.S.-based writer in completing a work translated into English. Funds can be used for basic needs, equipment, mentorship, or editing services. Unlike the Granum Foundation Prize, there is no book publication limit for translation applicants. Previous Granum cash prize winners are not eligible. Funds cannot be used for travel or study at an educational institution. |

New York City: Café Royal Cultural Foundation GrantsThe Café Royal Cultural Foundation awards grants of up to $10,000 to individual NYC-based artists across four disciplines: music production, visual arts, performance (theater, dance, and performance art), and literature (prose and poetry). Each category accepts a maximum of 40 applications per cycle. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or resident aliens who have lived in New York City for at least one year and plan to remain through project completion. |
Pennsylvania: Leeway Art and Change GrantThe Leeway Foundation awards grants of up to $2,500 to women, trans, and gender nonconforming artists and cultural producers living in Greater Philadelphia (Bucks, Camden, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties) for projects where social change is integral to the work. Open to artists working in any medium, including traditional, nontraditional, multimedia, and experimental forms. |
Delaware: Individual Artist Fellowships
The Delaware Division of the Arts awards annual fellowships across three career levels — $5,000 (Emerging), $8,000 (Established), and $12,000 (Master) — to Delaware residents working in choreography, folk art, jazz, literature, media arts, music, and visual arts. Work samples are reviewed by nationally recognized out-of-state arts professionals. Fellows are required to present their work publicly during the grant period. |
Queer|Art Design Grant
In partnership with UGG, Queer|Art has launched this new grant supporting U.S.-based queer and trans designers working across disciplines. The $10,000 award recognizes designers whose work reflects a commitment to creativity, individuality, and self-expression. Winners will be announced at Queer|Art's Annual Party in fall 2026. |
Utah: Individual Artist Advancement Grant
Utah Arts & Museums awards grants of $500 – $1,500 to individual artists residing and practicing in Utah across a wide range of disciplines — dance, design arts, folk and traditional arts, literature, multidisciplinary arts, music, performance art, theater, and visual arts. Funds can be used for marketing materials, residencies or intensive study with a master artist, gallery exhibition costs, conference fees and travel, vendor licenses, and equipment. Degree-bearing programs are not eligible. |
New York: Art Omi Artists Residency — Open Call 2027
Art Omi's annual summer residency brings together approximately two dozen international artists, critics, and curators for concentrated creative work, studio visits, and direct engagement with New York City art world professionals on a three-hundred-acre Hudson River Valley campus. Meals, accommodations, and studio space are provided. Applicants must have at least five years of professional practice; self-taught artists are welcome. There is a $15 application fee. |
Massachusetts: Artadia Awards
The Artadia Awards provide financial support and recognition to three artists with unrestricted awards of $15,000 in a different program city each month. This month, artists living and working in Bristol, Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, or Suffolk counties for at least two consecutive years are invited to apply. |
Utah: Folk Arts Apprenticeship Grant
Utah Arts & Museums awards grants of up to $5,000 to support traditional arts apprenticeships between accomplished mentors and emerging practitioners within Utah's ethnic, Native, rural, and occupational cultural communities. Funding covers mentor teaching fees, supplies, materials, space rental, and in-state travel. Both mentor and apprentice must apply together. A public presentation of the completed work is required. Applicants awarded funding in FY26 are not eligible until FY28. |
LIFT Beauty Accelerator
Rare Beauty Brands selects three early-stage beauty brands from underrepresented communities each year for a hands-on accelerator that pairs practical mentorship with real capital and retail opportunity. Each of the three program winners receives a minimum of $10,000 in non-dilutive funding, $20,000 in claims testing, additional in-kind services, and an opportunity to pitch JCPenney for potential in-store or online distribution. To be eligible, applicants must be from an underrepresented background in the beauty industry, lead a U.S.-incorporated company, have no institutional funding, limited distribution, and less than $1M in revenue, and have a beauty product — cosmetics, skincare, haircare, fragrance — at least at prototype stage. Service-based beauty businesses are not eligible. |
California: Berkeley Film Foundation Narrative Short Grant
The Berkeley Film Foundation awards project grants of $5,000 – $25,000 to support locally made narrative short films. To qualify, filmmakers must reside in Richmond, El Cerrito, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, or Alameda. |
New York: Bronx Cultural Visions Fund
The Bronx Cultural Visions Fund supports the development of new ideas and the production of new work in the performing arts, including dance, music, theater, performance art, and multidisciplinary work. Bronx-based emerging and mid-career individual artists and organizations with budgets up to $250,000 are eligible to apply. Two grant levels are available: up to $10,000 for concept development and up to $20,000 for production. Supported by the Howard Gilman Foundation. |
California: Cali Futures
Administered by the Center for Cultural Innovation and funded by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, Cali Futures supports California-based artists and cultural workers who are contributing to alternative efforts that hold promise for greater sustainability, belonging, and self-determination than current conventional systems offer. The fund supports individuals and teams at every stage from initial ideas to research, implementation, and reflection. A total of $100,000 in funding is available for the 2026 cycle. Organizations are not eligible; this grant is for individuals only. |
2026 Alumni Professional Development Fund
Creative West alumni can apply for up to $500 in reimbursement for professional development activities. This fund is specifically for past participants of Creative West's leadership programs — such as the Emerging Leaders of Color or National Arts Futures Fellowship — who have not yet received individual artist funding from Creative West. |
Amber Grant for Beauty and Personal Care
The WomensNet Amber Grant program awards a $10,000 grant each month to a different female-founded venture. The August cycle is dedicated to the beauty and personal care industry — a timely opportunity for CPG founders developing new product lines and formulations. All monthly winners also become eligible for a $25,000 year-end prize. |
Liu Shiming Artist Grants

Kansas and Missouri: Harvest to Market Grant
The Heartland Food Business Coalition provides up to $25,000 to food and farm enterprises in select rural counties across Kansas and Missouri. The program prioritizes post-harvest and go-to-market investments (processing equipment, distribution machinery, logistics systems, and marketing tools) and gives further preference to collaborative projects that pool products to fulfill larger orders. |
New Mexico: 2026 Film & Media Conference — "On Set in New Mexico"
The New Mexico Film Office will host its annual Film & Media Conference on Sept. 2 – 3 at the Albuquerque Rail Yards and the CNM Film and Media Arts Collaborative. This year's theme celebrates the productions, people, and partnerships that make New Mexico a leading destination for film and media production. Sessions cover industry trends, workforce development, creative careers, and the future of film and media in the state. $45 registration includes all sessions, networking, lunch both days, the Wrap Reception, exhibitor access, and The Talent Connection: Representation Roundtables with talent agents and casting directors. Limited volunteer opportunities are available for complimentary registration. |
SCBWI Awards & Grants
The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators offers a suite of grants and awards throughout the year for emerging authors, illustrators, and translators working in children's literature — from picture books and early readers to middle grade, young adult, and graphic novels. Programs support both pre-published and published members across multiple career stages. SCBWI membership is required to receive grant notifications, but some programs are open to non-members. |
